Type
GE Bachelor Thesis

Description

Stroke survivors are often required to perform repetitive tasks towards the rehabilitation for the functional recovery of the motor impairments. The intention here is to design and develop a VR application to motivate the patients to do these repetitive tasks. This will be done by designing virtual replicas of famous places, the user can then walk along. While walking the user can pick-up items to fulfill quests and unlock new areas. This bachelor thesis is part of the VIA-VR project, that aims to create a framework for modeling and staging strongly engaging VR adventures for medical training, prevention, therapy and rehabilitation.
