Description

In this bachelor thesis, the perception of virtual avatars is analyzed. For this purpose, a virtual human of the users is created with a full-body scanner and a presentation of the virtual humans to the users takes place. There, the weight perception of the subjects is also specifically tested by modifying the weight of the presented avatar several times during the presentation. Thereby 3 platforms are compared:

1) Virtual Reality through VR HMD (Varjo XR 3).

2) Augmented Reality through VR HMD camera (Varjo XR 3)

3) Augmented Reality through AR HMD (HoloLens 2)
