Development and Evaluation of a Personality-Enhanced Virtual Audience
Description
Virtual agents have been enhanced with personality traits for more realism and individualism for multiple different frameworks. However, in many of these frameworks speech played an important role to differentiate between traits. For frameworks where speech is not possible or wanted, such as in virtual audiences, this poses a problem. This project identifies parameters that can portray the personality traits of the extroversion and emotional stability dimensions of the Big Five, through the posture and gaze behaviour of in non-conversational, seated agents.
